Mt Hood

Kerry and I headed North for a 24 hour climb of Mt Hood. We flew into Portland after work, picked up a rental car and drove to the base of the mountain. After killing several hours a set-off at midnight. The climb was amazingly easy, mainly because we were on a groomed ski-slope. The most challenging aspect was avoiding the snow groomers.

We summitted at 7am in mighty fine conditions. We headed down, headed back to Portland airport an were back in San Francisco around 10pm. A fast but good summit.
