On Dec 19th we went to New Zealand for the Christmas Holidays; we came back home on Jan 4th.

Our first 2 days we spent at Lake Taupo in fabulous Acacia Cliffs Lodge with hosts Linda and Rick. We visited ‘Craters of the Moon’ and Huka Falls. Some photos: Taupo.
We then made our way to Havelock North for a family Christmas Eve with Alison and Annie & Hamish. Here’s the Christmas Eve album.
Christmas Day was spent relaxing and walking.
New Year’s Eve was a very special one this year since it was also Annie and Hamish’s Wedding. It was a lovely day for a lovely ceremony with friends and family and plenty of good food and drinks!

On New Year’s Day lots of people gathered at Alison’s place for a casual lunch. I only took my camera out later in the day.

Between Christmas and New Year Caroline was lucky to be able to catch up with Leah. On Jan 2nd we drove to Raumati Beach and stayed with our dear friends Jude and Mark. Jonathan was also there. Here’s catching up with Friends.
