We decided to drive to just north of Redding, CA, to make the most of the Annular Solar Eclipse and see the ‘Ring of Fire’.
The event was the first one of its kind to be visible from the mainland United States since 1994. The region won’t see another such eclipse until 2023. (National Geographic). So yes, it was worth the drive north!
