Rubtsovsk is twined with Grants Pass in the United States. A place we have very fond memories of.
Started the day for a coffee from Arabica Coffee. For some strange reason the coffees here in Russia have been a little on the luke warm side. The drive to Robtsovsk was uneventful, maybe even a little boring. Lovely lush green countryside, but flat and uninspiring. There were gray skies and a little rain which did not help things. The road was fast with only minor roadworks so we made excellent time.
Rubtsovsk is nothing special, but we stumbled across a nice and spanky new hotel. After lots of hand waving, we secured a very nice room. It is a lot of fun speaking to Russians who do not speak English. Dinner was average, but does one expect when dining at the local cinema!
