We had a leisurely 6 hour drive to Ölgii. The roads started out dusty and bumpy but ended with near prefect sealed road (there was one very large pothole to be avoided). The scenery was wonderful and we took our time enjoying these last driving days in Mongolia. Along the way we stopped and chatted to two Norwegians driving a Land Rover Discovery (around 2010 model year). Very nice to see other over-landers in such a classy vehicle. A few water crossings to be negotiated, otherwise the trip was uneventful.
