We are sailing out of Santiago de Cuba at the time of writing. I do not believe I have ever felt so emotional when leaving a country. Beautiful Cuba: you and your people gave us a very warm welcome. I felt fortunate to have been able to see not only breathtaking Havana, but also Cienfuegos, Trinidad de Cuba, Santiago de Cuba. I enjoyed the unassuming friendliness of your people, your cities, your classic cars, your art galleries, restaurants, mojitos and daiquiris, rum and cigars, coffee, architecture; I felt safe and welcome everywhere and every-time of day and night.
I will miss you and I will be back.
