We visited the now abandoned township of Pyramiden. This was a soviet era mining community with all the trappings. Now it is home to 10 residents who are available to provide tours and run the local hotel. This would have been quite the place during its “golden era”.
During pre-dinner drinks, we were interrupted with a sighting of mummy bear and baby bear. Evening spent with the fabulous fossils.
