Wet and Wild

Long Weekend, January 18 to 21, 2019

Spent the long weekend away enjoying the Northern California coastline at Gualala Regional Park. It rained pretty much all the time for the entire three days. The wet and wild weather didn’t slow us down too much, and we braved it to enjoy nice long walks along the beach and into town for coffee at Trinks Cafe and to buy a pair of gumboots for Stephen. Caroline had gotten organized with a pair 2 days before.

The mud room in Molly got its first real test, and it performed well. We are getting quite good at drying out clothing as well.

Finally worked out how to connect the wireless modem in Molly to an external wifi network. It worked amazingly well once it was setup.

There are some nice arty stores and galleries in Gualala. We visited the Allinder Gallery where Caroline purchased Ansel Adams’ biography from the author, Mary Street Alinder. Always a favorite for Caroline is Red Stella.
