After leaving Lake Tahoe, we headed down Highway 395. This was a “memory lane” trip for us. But we found a few new things to explore as well. The east side of the Sierra’s are amazing. Basically we are on our way to san Diego, but taking a little time to get there.

Mono Lake. A favourite.
Eastern Sierra’s
Manzanar where more than 10,000 Japanese people were detained during World War II.
Wild flowers near Alabama Hills.
Alabama Hills was full. This was just as good.
Film Museum. Definitively worth a visit.
The Wild West. All filmed locally.
Joshua Tree and U2.
