Our wonderful Webasto diesel cooktop decided to play up. Basically it was not producing any reasonable heat leading to the prospect of a cold dinner. Surprisingly enough we had ordered a replacement diesel fuel line filter the week before, and brought it with us on this weekend trip. It is recommended that the filter is changed every 12 months, so it was due. So, instead of trying to troubleshoot the issue, we just replaced the filter, primed the line and were up and running. Hot meal tonight.
Later we realized that the issue was probably just a low diesel level in the main diesel tank. Oh well, lesson learned, and will chalk this one up to maintenance.
